The Boulder is fishing very well, and the dry fly bite is in full swing. Flies on the water right now include: Yellow Sallies, PMD, Golden Stones, and caddis. The river is floatable right now, but it will continue to drop with the hot weather and the lack of storms being forecasted. This river is definitely a sleeper and holds large trout, and they love big dries, but the best fishing on the Boulder River is still a few weeks away. Have fun, but, remember, this river is very slick and hard to wade-especially at these higher flows-so be cautious.
